How to acquire a Ruggerz NFT

If you already have NFT investments, great, this will be super easy.

If you haven't invested in NFT's before, then we will give you a helping hand. It's relatively straightforward when you know how, but it can be overwhelming if it's your first.

Things you'll need

Opensea account

OpenSea is the largest NFT platform in the world. It can be used to buy and also to sell your NFTs. If you buy a Ruggerz NFT, and you later want to sell it, hopefully for a big profit, you can use Opensea, you simply just list it for sale and chose your 'buy now' sale price, or put it up for auction.

A digital wallet

You digital wallet is where you can securely store your crypto currency and NFTs. Think of it as a real wallet, with cash and cards, but it's digital, with crypto and NFTs.

There are plenty of options but we'd recommend creating a Coinbase wallet.

Attention to detail

It's digital, so you need to be careful. Don't rush, check things twice and make sure you keep your passwords safe. In particular your seed phrase for your wallet. Again it's relatively straightforward standard but it's important you do get it right. You can't click 'forgot password' for a seed phrase.

Here you can find a step by step guide to getting a Ruggerz NFT, it can look intimidating but if you follow the key steps you'll be just fine. We will guide you through the process, but if you get stuck, please do speak to our support team on the Discord.

Before you get started:

You will need to be 18 years old, have government issued ID, a good wifi connection, Google Chrome. A phone number that's connected to your smart phone (as you'll get SMS messages).

CREATING YOUR COINBASE WALLET (1)

DESKTOP EDITION. Also see video demonstration if preferred.

Pre-requisite

Use Google Chrome as your web browser.

Step 1

Install Coinbase wallet via the Google Chrome web store.
In Chrome enter https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/coinbase-wallet-extension/hnfanknocfeofbddgcijnmhnfnkdnaad?hl=en-GB into your URL bar.
Click ‘Add to Chrome’. A pop up will open, click ‘Add Extensions’.

Good work, that wasn't too bad was it?

Step 2

Create a new Coinbase wallet.
After Step 1 you will be presented with the webpage, click Create new wallet.

Next, set a username. Leave ‘Allow other Wallet users to search for my username’ unchecked. Click submit.
Click ‘Copy to clipboard’ and paste this in a safe place, such as notes a word document or write it down on paper. This hidden text is your recovery key. Once you’ve done this check ‘I understand that if I lose my recovery phrase, I'll lose all of the crypto in my wallet’ and click ‘Continue’.
Select the first and last word taken from the recovery key you pasted in the last step. If you’ve lost it, you can click the back arrow and repeat the last step.
Set a secure password, agree to the terms and then click ‘Submit’

ADDING FUNDS WITH COINBASE (2)

Pre-requisite

Compete (1): Instaling Coinbase wallet.

Step 1

In Chrome enter https://www.coinbase.com/ into your URL bar.

Step 2

Click 'Get Started'

Step 3

Create an account

Step 4, 5, 6 and 7 below

Now you have a Coinbase account click the 'Add payment method'. Complete the form.
You're ready to add funds. Click 'Buy Crypto'
Select Custom and enter the amount for the card & a buffer for service fees. Add the card + $100-£100 to be safe. (Service Fees: There are small fees charged by OpenSea when purchasing an NFT.)
Click 'Bitcoin' and change it to 'Ethereum'. Preview buy and complete the transaction.

Step 8, 9, 10 and 11 below

Click 'Send / Receive' in the top right of the window to send funds to your Coinbase Wallet.
Set the amount you want to send. Open your Coinbase Wallet google chrome extension
(This was installed in the first guide). Click the barcode icon entitled 'Show Wallet Address'.
Copy your wallet address within the Coinbase wallet.
Paste the address just copied into the 'To' field on Coinbase. Complete the transaction.
Within a few minutes your Coinbase Wallet will had the funds you sent over and you're ready to buy your first NFT.

BUYING A RUGGERZ NFT FROM OPENSEA (3)

Pre-requisite

Compete (2): Adding Funds with Coinbase

Step 1

In Chrome enter https://opensea.io/login into your URL bar.

Step 2

Select ‘Coinbase Wallet’ and use this to setup a new account.

Step 3

Visit https://opensea.io/collection/ruggerz-nft and select the card you’re interested in. Click Buy now

Step 4, 5, 6 and 7 below

A window will open confirming the item you’re interested in. Click ‘I understand that OpenSea has not reviewed this collection and blockchain transactions are irreversible.’
Click ‘Confirm checkout’
Click 'Convert' to transfer your funds to the purchasing currency.
Sign the transaction to confirm the transaction

You're all done! Fairly long but hopefully you made it and it'll all be worth it.
